Yo, aint it the truth. Since Amy and Lily came out I have had a "Soulful British" playlist that includes some males like Pualo Nutini. I don't think it is so much that there is more talent over there, I think it is that label heads over there allow for creative expression that breaks the mold, you know? Over here it's more a matter of fitting the mold i.e Rihanna, Beyonce,Katy Perry, PCD, stupidfucking Miley Cyrus. shit like that. There are some really great American female singers with really unique styles that get a lot more attention over in Britian and France then they do here, which is a damn shame!
