I think I've passed the point where the new A Keys is still too new for me to criticize.

I'M READY TO SCREAM MY OPINION!!!!

so the Intro- it's cool i guess, just her vibing on the piano

Go Ahead- it's ok, I usually skip it for some reason.... I don't like the melody of the verses as of yet. maybe i'll change my mind.

Superwoman- this is my joint. Empowerment for us females, gotta love it. ESPECIALLY when she says "Even when I'm a mess, I still put on a vest with an S on my chest, oh yes I'm a superwoman..." it's a really nice song, got me thinkin if I jumped out the window right now I'd soar- or not,lol

No One- don't bite my head off... I'm probably the only person (besides 2 or 3 others) who isn't feeling this as much as the general population of the world. i just feel like it's a lot of straining of the vocal cords. A LOT. i like the melody though, i wish she would keep it down a little though,lol. The ending though? When she's saying OH! i hate it soo much,lol, things like that are good for live shows because you include the audience... but on CD it makes me feel like she ran out of things to sing.

Like You'll Never See Me Again- this song is growing on me. i like it better when she sings it live during those MTV commercials, but i love how it sounds like a lullaby. it's mad cute. and when she says "howwwww many really know what love IS?" o0o0o0o mad special... and let's not even get on the video with Common. Straight BEAUTY.

Lesson Learned- i see you John Mayer.... even though you could've added a little more vocals though, but it's cool. once again, loving the melody. it's a nice song. very A.Keys-esque if that makes any sense.

Wreckless Love- ok Alicia... now I'm feelin you!!! Homegirl was like "So baby, let's go! Have that wreckless love! That crazy love! That I don't really care-we can have it anywhere kind of love! That wreckless love!" oh man, and just the way she belts it out, and the arrangements of the song. This is my kind of alicia. :)

The Thing About Love- i don't know about this one.... it's a ballad and then out of nowhere it sounds like something The Beatles left on the cutting room floor. once again, the straining...eh, no thanks.

Teenage Love Affair- madddddddddd cuuuuuuute! gives me the same feeling as "Wreckless Love" literally describing young love, the arrangement... it's just so FEEL GOOD. reminds me of the summer,lol, but it's all love- I'll blast it when it's below zero, ain't nothin.

I Need You- work it then alicia. hot hot up-tempo joint. this is my favorite as of right now.

Where Do We Go From Here- one of those more hip hopish sad songs that you love to bump but makes you feel type sad whether you're going through the situation or not. this is definitely my second favoriteeeeeee. "we're at the crossroads, my deeeeeeear..."

Prelude to a Kiss- nice little 2 minute song, nothing major though.

Tell You Something (Nana's Reprise)- aw, this song is cute. the chorus is catchy. it doesn't do much for me, but that's ok.

Sure Looks Good to Me- now THIS is an impressive song. "SO DON'T RAINNN ON MY PARADE!!!!" this is that song you play when you feel like everyone's hating on your steez (yes. i said steez. did i even use it right?lol) and you're just like you know what? IF YOU DON'T HAVE NOTHIN NICE TO SAY KEEP IT MOVIN!!!!! one of THOSE. mhm, i really like it, and it's a GREAT way to end the cd. LET A KEYS DO A KEYS YA! lol let her live!

So all in all, it's a good cd! yay! I'm so happy! you can really tell she gave this cd a lot of.... FEELING. it's mad... RAW at times. do you get what i'm tryna say?

anyways, lately (especially since my discovering of Amy Winehouse) nothing has been that impressive, but there really is some good music on this. my one thing though, is that i reeeeeally wish she would take care of her voice, by cd2 she was already sounding a bit raspy on "if i ain't got you" and I wan't her to last!

I went to the Diary of Alicia Keys concert.... and I might have to hit up this next concert as well :)

SO! it's 2:35pm and i'm standing on a RIDICULOUSLY long line in a park across from the High St. train station in Brooklyn with Tiffi, Geezy, Yagee and Natalia.

Why? Because after the Chris Brown CD Signing, we bumped into some peoples from BET who invited us to a special edition of 106 & Park with Jay-Z. You already know we were in there.

It was pretty nippy yesterday, and with frozen feet and hands we waited outside for over an hour for the bus ride that would then take us to the "Secret Location" where the show was to be held.

We get on the bus and before we can sit down it becomes PLAIN TO SEE that we're surrounded by over 20 ignorant and annoying people. NOT COOL.

We driving through BK and I'm thinking aloud... WHERE THE HELL IS BET TAKING US?!!?!? IMAGINE THEY TAKING US TO ANOTHER STATE?!?! TO THE AIRPORT?!!!? I AM NOT FROM BK WHAT IS THIS?! IT'S GONNA BE DARK IN AN HOUR!!!!

*sigh* lol

We pull into the lot of these studios and see the stage and a giant screen all the way on the other side.... THE CONCERT IS OUTSIDE!?!??!!?! WHAAAAAAAAAT?! thinking aloud again.

Thinking we were getting off the bus, we all get excited again. For what? We stayed in that dayum lot for like TWO FREAKIN HOURS.

But wait, let me backtrack. When we were on line in the park, we overheard people saying that IT from I Love New York2 tried to cut the line and they made him go all the way to the back....

Back to the bus...

Me and Tiffi were like what in the hell is the ISSUE?! And he looked so sad that poor IT guy,lol, he was lookin all annoyed when people were askin questions and yellin and all that rough stuff. Yet he stayed on the bus... so it's like, was he really mad? lol you know he loved the attention! ESPECIALLY when he said: I'm an idiot with money though!

Idk... you just had to be there. EXTREMELY random moment in my life. Top 10.

What felt like hours were passing and still... we were on that bus with them crazy people. We were there for so long... THEY GOT US PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA!!! lol mad cute.

Finally we get off and after the whole process of the metal detector's and whatnot... WE GET TO THE STAGE.

We weren't RIGHT UP FRONT, but we were close enough.

7:13 and JiggaMan was still upstairs in the building next door to where we were, recording with the AMAZINGLY TALENTED rocsi & terrence. (ugh, sarcassssssssssssssssssm)

10-15 minutes later he comes onto the stage and ROCKS THE FCKIN MIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He started out with Blue Magic (no thanks...) then he did Roc Boys (which sounded GREAT with the live band, omg it was great.)

Then, i'm not sure of exact name titles from the American Gangster album because I don't have it... but he did like 2 more from there.

He did Dirt of Your Shoulder!! HOTTTT!!!! "I drop the black album then I'm back at it as the best rapper alive, ngga ask about me" oh mannnnnnnnnn!

Then I died. Why? Because he did PSA. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT.

Omggggg, I can so die happy after that. I felt like my body wanna gonna explode with an overabundance of emotions!

well then... since the NASTY SOCIETY is on its Chris Brown grind right now (or maybe just Geezy & myself... and Natalia for support), we hit up his CD signing @ Virgin in Times Square earlier today!

we got there around 2 and i must say.... IT WAS BRICK OUT THERE!!!!! with the jacket, scarf, gloves, and earmuffs it STILL wasn't cutting it!

we finally went in around 5 something and everything from there went SUPER FAST.

after waiting hours he finally came down the escalator looking like the fly little boy that he is,lol, with his crew and cute lil pitbull puppy! AW! (i felt ad for the poor dog though, all the shrill yelling.)

Today, 3/5th of the NASTY SOCIETY attended the Blueprint recording for Chris Brown. Funnnnnnnnn!

He's... so fly in person,lol, i swear.

Something happened with the recording of the first 2 songs that he had to do them twice.

Nobody was complaining though, he's quite the entertainer.
