The Brothers Bloom
You know me, if I like it- I LOVE IT.
So! Took myself out on a date this afternoon.. & I must say I'm in love. With myself.
Just kidding! But no really, I had a nice time, enjoyed my own company!
Walked around & sat in a garden for a little (hey hot stuff) & then finally went to the movies on my own- like I always wanted.
The Brothers Bloom was SO freakin' pleasing. Brilliant plot, quirky characters, lovely script, and beautiful scenery (shot in US, Europe & South America)!
And seriously, it was so visually amazing. You might not realize it when a movie ISN'T literally beautiful because you're forced to focus on the characters & dialogue alone, but when every single thing on the screen is jumping out at you in such a pretty way it makes an OD difference.
Plus, I love Mark Ruffalo & Adrien Brody is just yummy. Nonchalantly yummy... If you know what I mean.
Movie is about two con men brothers. That's all I'm gonna say.
Oh, and my favorite quotes:
"Eat your waffles, fat man."
"Tastes like tin foil."
"We're gonna live like were telling the best story in the whole world. Are you ready?"
"I think you're constipated... In your fucking soul."
" I want an unwritten life!!!"
